I honestly do not believe the world is prepared for Muslim Comboys

But helas, they insist on unleashing their craziness upon us, Mecca style. Meaning, you can't take it with you, you've gotta go to them. What is the point of a Video.Google page if you're not going to let me embed on my blog? Seriously, WTF! If only they were gay, then they would have been perfect.I'd be able to call them Brokeback Medina.

A word is all there is to start voogling

I've been away dealing elsewhere with exploding run down databases. While battling the MySQL trixies I have been pondering about the blogging style because how I stumble upon videos is so random.

I think of a word or a frase. In it goes into the search form and boom, I start jumping from one link to another. And that's when I had my little moment : that's exactly what the voogling of the day should be about. Start with a word and then get on with.

So Video.Google, here I come...

Charlie Rose : Video.Google vs. YouTube

Submitted by liza on Tue, 2006-03-21 04:28.

How much you bet the return on the clips for the Charlie Rose show that are up for sell through Video.Google are not going to be so great given people can upload their favorite ones over at YouTube.

I just don't see the logic behind microchunking shows like that for cash when it's the audience they want. They should give the shows for free, use it for market research and then create per-per-view webisodes based on their findings.

I leave you with Rose's interview of my imaginary boyfriend, Viggo Mortensen. A good one given today we mark three years of the war in Iraq. And he's yummy.

We're baaaaack!

I whited out the site for a bit while deciding what I wanted to do with it. This will probably be the last blog I publish on a whim : I really have no plan with this blog other than to find my own personal alternative to the crap that's on TV these days.

Why bother?
Because I like to watch.

I actually enjoy watching TV. I don't try to be like those intellectual snobs that claim superiority by saying they never watch TV. I have no patience for people like now. As some of you may know, I am not at all a light-weight writer. I actually consider being an intellectual a curse.

Publishing this blog is actually therapy. Brings me down to earth. And I get to watch and laugh and cry and fight and fawn through pure escapism or deep pondering left in video bits shared by you, the world.

So y'all, I leave you with this ... The Worst Joke

This spells the death to TV as we know it because the internet is for porn and not just of the sex kind. This is total postmodern, prosumer media porn!

So what do I get when I'm voogling for "guys gone wild"?

Submitted by liza on Fri, 2006-02-24 05:23.

Check it out guys gone wild - Google Video.

Ed McMahon, Bob Barker, James Arness, Quincy Jones and Ted Turner, among others. Wierd frigging snitz coming from the Archive of American Television interview. What are these people doing putting half an hour long clips?!?!

Crazy.
